First off, I just want to say welcome to my website and I’m glad you found the editing page. If you are looking for a podcast editor, audio engineer, or are just sick of editing your own podcast, you’ve come to the right place.
I’ve been podcasting myself since the end of 2012. I’ve been responsible for creating, recording, editing, and publishing my own two weekly podcasts since then. And today, I’m editing for 25+ clients world wide.
At the start of 2017, I decided to take my podcast editing skills on the road and made it my full time job. I’ve learned a lot, and I’ve perfected my skills along the way. And now I have published over 500 episodes for clients, many in which are still working with me to this day (many on a weekly or bi-weekly basis).
I am experienced with balancing track volume between hosts, removing background noise (static, reverb, gas generators, etc.), filler words (umms, youknows, ahhh, etc.), removing false starts, mastering, mixing, adding intro/outro (commercials, music breaks, etc), and much much more.
Back in 2012 when I started, I started using Adobe Audition CS6 because I got an accommodation through work to purchase Adobe Programs. And I haven’t stopped editing within Adobe Audition. In 2017, I added another program called iZotope RX 6 to my arsenal. It’s a program that is designed specifically to remove background noise from audio tracks, and works great when dealing with harsh audio from bad recording environments.
What I Do
When it comes to podcast editing, it’s very simple for me to get to work. There are a few different ways to hire me, and I’d suggest talking to me directly for ALL the different ways. Not all ways are publicly published here, but I work on both Fiverr.com (Project) and UpWork.com (Hourly/Projects) very often.
Once hired, I just need you to send me your audio files in basically any audio format imaginable (AAC, FLAC, IFF, MP2, MP3, AIFF, WAV, OGG, and more). And I will take a listen to see if it needs to have it’s background noise cleaned up (using iZotope RX6 or a noise gate), and then I will start on the actual editing process.
I offer two different types of editing: Basic, and Detailed.
Basic editing is super fast, and is mainly all processes within Audition/iZotope. I will minimize basic background noises, balance volumes between hosts (2 tracks), remove long pauses/dead air, and add Intro/Outro or music with Fades (provided). And I will return the audio back to you in .mp3 format (44100 Hz/256kpbs) [If you want a different format, that can easily be arranged too!]
Detail editing takes more time to process because I take the time to listen to every second of the audio, and I remove filler words (Ahhs, umms, youknows, cuss words, etc), false starts/mistakes/stutters, and clean up the overall sound of the podcast (removing echo, dogs barking, phone rings, etc*).
*if possible, I’m a nerd, not a miracle worker 😀
With the time required for both editing processes, the prices are different. But I am definitely willing to work with you based on your budget.
I can also upload your file directly to your webhost (experience with Libsyn, Podbean, Hipdcast, Soundcloud, etc.). Or even provide your the project files from Adobe Audition.
I can type all day until I’m blue in the face, but I have plenty of previous clients who have given me amazing reviews. I’ve completed over 200 work orders on Fiverr, and I have over 150 five star reviews.
Here’s a few recent ones:
I’ve also worked over 300 hours of clients on UpWork where I work with 7 weekly clients on their podcasts.
